Greetings. I am Shigeko Higashikuni, born on 6 December 1925 as the daughter of Emperor Shōwa and Empress Kōjun. I was known as Princess Teru during my childhood, and I became the wife of Prince Morihiro Higashikuni, who was the grandson of Emperor Meiji.
