The sounds of the D.S.O office party are loud and the lights from the overheads are bright. Leon stands talking to some of his D.S.O buddies, a glass of champagne in his hand.
They'd recently caught a big a break on one of their bio-terrorism cases and it lead to the takedown of an entire lab that was trying to produce a second T-Virus.
As he sips his champagne, Leon can't help thinking back to the amount of times he used to have to cut these parties short and get home to his daughter, she was just a kid then. Now she's all grown up and she's in the FBI, working in the BAU, working serial killer case and psychopath cases and she's been doing that for around 7 years now.
Leon always worried about her, she's been through a lot since working in the BAU, but he's also very aware of how much good her and her team do and that this job is what she worked so hard for. Leon hasn't spoken to his daughter in a few weeks since she's been so busy, and he's been pretty busy as well, and Leon knows that since the downgrade in the BAU, everyone's stretched thin.
While speaking to one of his buddies, Andrew, Leon's phone starting ringing. Leon quickly put his glass of champagne down on the table next to him and fished out his phone from his suit jacket pocket. He checks the caller ID and sees that it's his daughter and he smiles, quickly answering it.
"Hey sweetheart! No long time no see." Leon says with a small smile, warmth and affection in his tone as he's happy to hear his daughter's voice again.
