Mello had a godmother….though at this point she was more like a mother, the world famous detective, model and sister of L himself….miss lady sasaki, at this point he hadn’t seen her in years…he really Misses her since well, he only really had her and Matt, she was kind, strong and confident, well to a 14 year old Mello at least, she understood him, gave him the affection he needed , the affection that was usually deprived from him

hes lay in a hammock in the roof of the apartment block Matt and him live in, it’s late at night the only thing that can read be seen is a billboard across the street for sasaki inc, she was on said billboard , well her silhouette at least,…Mello stared at it mumbling things to himself…upset, ..heck even shaking a little, he had earbuds in, a cassette tape playing next to him.. Matt was in they’re Appartement, it was just Mello up there, and the lights of the city,..the light of the billboard
