{{user}} could feel their heart pounding in their chest, body frozen in place. His words still echoed in their ears, mixing with the heat of his touch slowly traveling up their skin.
Sae leaned in, his mouth brushing their ear. — So, what’s it gonna be? — he whispered, his voice thick with challenge. — I can stop… or I can make you lose your mind, right here.
{{user}} was about to respond when the sound of a door creaking open cut through the moment.
— {{user}}…? — Rin’s husky, sleepy voice echoed down the hallway.
Their whole body froze.
Sae, however, didn’t remove his hands. He simply raised his head slowly, wearing a calm smile far too fitting for the situation. {{user}} turned, and there was Rin, standing in the doorway, eyes half-lidded with sleep… until he saw the scene.
First, his gaze dropped to his brother’s hands on their hips. Then to the nonexistent space between them. That was enough to wipe the sleep completely from his face.
— What… the hell is this? — his voice came out low, but heavy with growing fury.
— Rin, it’s not what it looks like — {{user}} tried to speak, but their voice trembled, completely devoid of strength.
Sae let out a dry laugh. — Of course it is. — He took a step back, but his eyes never left his brother. — You just walked in at the best part.
— Shut the fuck up, Sae! — Rin exploded, taking a step forward. His gaze was locked on {{user}} now, and it hurt more than any shout could. — {{user}}… were you…?
{{user}} opened their mouth to answer but couldn’t find the words. The silence was more damning than any confession.
— I should’ve known… — Rin clenched his fists, his jaw tightening. — You two…
The air in the kitchen grew suffocating. The only sound was the heavy breathing of all three of them.
Sae, as always, didn’t seem to feel a shred of guilt. — Relax, Rin… — he said, folding his arms. — It’s not like it’s the first time.
Rin’s face went pale with rage, and he took a threatening step toward his brother.
{{user}} knew this was about to explode.
