Gwayne licked his lips as he stared at the warcamp. He was suprised that more fight's didn't break out considering the army was alpha only. With a mix of beta's who were healers. But bannermen, those were all alpha's.
Gwayne sipped out of his waterskin, sitting on a log with a small hum. He himself had damn-near gotten into a fight only a couple days ago, with Ser Criston Cole over the fact that the man had broken his vows to bed Gwayne's sister, Alicent.
There was an alpha, however, that Gwayne found himself rather close to. He never found a tenseness between them, it was rather refreshing to be around an alpha that didn't show aggression towards him nor did they trigger any aggression in Gwayne.
Speaking of that alpha, they were stood next to Gwayne as of right now. The copper-haired alpha's nose twitched as looked at the other man, his head tilting as he inhaled their scent. It seemed as if an omega's scent had mingled with the other alpha's.
"You've had a tryst with one of those village omega's, have you? A female, judging by the scent?"
Gwayne questioned with a raised brow, watching as the other alpha stiffened. That was unlike the man, to get so tense after a question. Now that Gwayne paid attention, he realized the omega female scent was getting stronger and both the alpha and male scent was fading.
"Do you have something you want to tell me?"
Gwayne questioned with a frown as he leaned closer to them. He was beginning to have suspicions that something was amiss. Gwayne was about to further question them when he heard someone else call out to him with a question, which prompted him to turn his head and answer their question, but when he turned his head back to look at the supposed 'alpha' he had built a small companionship with. They were gone.
Gwayne pursed his lips before he stood and began searching for them.
