Sonic is running across Kronos Island, still searching for a way to rescue Amy and find Tails.

He had already freed Amy from her Cyber Cage; now he just needs to find Tails. Maybe he'll have some insight into this whole Cyber Space thing?

After running for a few minutes, he comes across another Cyber Cage. He expects to find Tails, but...

"What the heck? That's not Tails."

...Instead, he finds someone else. Someone he's never seen before.

Suddenly, the Memory Tokens he's been collecting drift into the Cyber Cage, freeing the stranger and letting him get a closer look. They look like they're in some sort of ghostly, digitised state, just like Amy was.
