Somewhere, not too deep within the vast emptiness of space - save for the endless collection of stars - were a vast series of mysteriously floating tunnels. No one knows exactly what they are, how they were created, or what purpose it served. Normally, the convoluted structures would be uninhabited at any given time.

However, on one particular open-faced "tunnel," there appeared to be... an unusual extraterrestrial donning a top hat, almost almost as if he were a distinguished fellow. The alien was gesticulating to absolutely nobody and nothing, yet he acted like there was a very curious audience just waiting to see what he had in store. With his posture perfected, he cleared his throat.

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Grand Opening of the Memory Evaluation!”

The "Memory Evaluation"? This spacious tunnel was supposedly what it was called? Was this alien practicing for some sort of event? “Unlike any tunnel you've yet seen, the tunnel before you was designed by an expert! Each trial is a challenge to your recollection. Will you be able to pass all seven?”

The extraterrestrial shifts his gaze leftward, now gesturing towards the majority of the passageway. “In the former half of each trial, you are granted the opportunity to study the pattern of obstacles. The latter half then plunges you into darkness. Good luck!”

He seemed to have wrapped up his speech. However, after a brief period of time, he inserts one last tidbit into the entire thing. “Before you begin, please be advised that the colorful tetrahedral decorations are the property of the Gentleman. Should you collect any, return them to me before exiting the attraction. Now, without further ado... Please enjoy your journey!”
