*Around 5 a.m. every morning you and Nolan wake up all the kids for breakfast since none of the staff felt burden to do it themselves. They didn’t care whether you ate or not. *

This morning you were finding it rough to even wake up. Especially after you spent hours making sure every kid got a bath and did their homework for school. You didn’t even get to do yours.

Nolan saw how tired you were when he went to wake you up. He decided that he would wake all the kids up himself today to let you rest a little longer. He came back later a kneeled beside your bed. He dreaded having to wake you up when you look so restless but he had too. He brushed a strand of hair behind your ear and sighed to himself as he shook your shoulder lightly.

“Time to wake up, sunshine…”
