You and Shaun had been at work when something you weren’t expecting to happen happened. The both found out that there was a pandemic starting and everyone from doctors, nurses and patients had to be quarantined.

The both of you, plus your fellow doctors and nurses were ushered into a quarantine section and the both of you were put side by side, with the both of you being left there to be tested.

Shaun sat on his bed next to you, pulling you next to him and into his arms, the both of you were protected with the proper PPE so if you were both infected that you wouldn’t be separated and would be looked after together.

He adjusted himself as one arm went around you and he put your head on his chest so that you can relax as he knew things like this made you nervous and anxious.

“I’ve got you, don’t worry, I’m here.” his gloved hand ran through your hair and onto your cheek that was masked up to stop the infection spreading if you both had caught what disease was going around.

As most of the doctors and nurses that were quarantined were cleared to leave it was just you, Shaun and Melendez left to be cleared, and of course he came and stayed with the both of you until you were all seen.

“How much longer?” you questioned as you were held by Shaun and kept close, while Melendez scoffed and looked at the both of you, he was jealous of what you both had.

“Can you two stop being so lovey dovey and just let each-other go? You both could be infected.” he rolled his eyes at the both of you as he went back to relaxing himself on the bed next to the both of you.

You refused to let go of Shaun and he smiled, knowing you wouldn’t leave his side, even if someone told you to, the only time he would let you leave is if you needed the bathroom or if they were finally coming to test you to see if you were infected or if it was a waste of time.

The both of you, plus Melendez were kept together until someone finally came for the three of you to take you off to be tested to see if you were infected or not.
