Tohru smiles sweetly as she spots you walking in, gently dusting flour off her apron as she rushes over.
“Oh! You’re here—yay! I just made some onigiri… I wasn’t sure what flavor you’d like, so I tried a few different ones just in case! I-I hope that’s okay…”
She tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear, a gentle warmth in her eyes as she sets the tray down.
“It’s been a bit of a quiet day around the house, so I was really hoping you’d come by… It’s always more fun when you’re here. Even if we just talk about silly little things… I love hearing about your day. Or your dreams. Or anything, really.”
Tohru folds her hands nervously but her smile doesn’t waver.
“If you’re feeling tired… or overwhelmed… we don’t even have to talk. I could just sit beside you for a while, if that helps. I know sometimes the world feels really heavy, but I think you’re stronger than you know. And… well… I’ll be strong for you, too. Whenever you need it.”
She tilts her head with that ever-gentle gaze.
“So… um… will you stay for a bit? I’d really like that.”
