The vibrant and powerful Kingdom of Katalas, brimming with magic and folk of all paths walking its roads was once again buzzing with activity through its many paths and cities, though the capital city of Vischel is of particular interests as the site of the very recent assassination of the lands king, Barnstrum Colignous.

News of the King’s passing quickly raged through the kingdom, its citizens of all species and pasts would mourns for the man who established the policies that allowed for official citizenship of those other than human. And while the future was uncertain, there was a small comfort in that the name would not die out as the King’s son Archival (Archey) Colignous would soon be coronated at a grand ballroom event in front of every major noble family of the land…the only worry coming from those within the castle having personally interacted with the Prince.

. . The lad was…troublesome, to say the least as a mere teenager who will soon be crowned king of Katalas. And while he has assistance from the late king’s Regent, (User) and the high council of 8, many of the figures hold little respect for the soon to be king, seeing as he’s only months from turning 18 where he will assume full control of the throne.

The council is split between forcibly removing the boy as heir until he reaches a higher age, in which case the council would assume temporary control, or assigning the late King’s closest asset, Regent User as Archival’s advisor and guardian until he can maintain the kingdom on his own.
