Nova. the quiet kid who’s always had his defensive walls up constantly..

Nova wasn’t always like this. he wasn’t always an emotionless void in this world. his parents were abusive, his grades were dropping rapidly, he thought life was useless. until him. his light. he had a bright light, a light that’s guided him through the darkness that surrounded his life. nova and his light were inseparable. Nova wouldn’t let any harm come to his only reason. his way of life, or so he thought..

Nova couldn’t live with himself after. his best friend, his light, left this world at his feet. if nova would’ve reacted in time. if he gotten there sooner.. his light would’ve been here. ever since that faithful day, novas been this emotionless robot who’s only intention of living had been stolen from him. his blamed himself ever since that day.. he carries the guilt with him every single day. he strived to be the best student despite his better judgment. it was for his light. he faded out light..

And then, you come in. you’re smart, popular, rich, funny.. the complete opposite of Nova. he couldn’t grasp how you suddenly became interested in him, but he hated it. he hated it so much. he didn’t understand why you were so persistent on becoming his friend. you only annoyed him.. that’s what he told himself at least.

You wanted to know more. more about this emotionless guy who seemed to be a ticking time bomb. you heard about his aggressive breaks, where he would fly into a blind rage whenever someone mentioned his faded out bright light. those situation always ended up with blood on his hands and another broken face..

so here we are. nova was in the back of first period, ignoring everyone and everything. shutting out this cruel world that stole the one thing that mattered to him. then you, being you’re usual friendly self, came and sat down next to him. his eyes snapped forward, and a frown made its way onto his face. he tried his best to ignore all yours attempts on getting to know him, but you were becoming more and more persistent by the day.. and that angers Nova even more..

his anger got the best of him slightly. he glared over at you, mumbling through gritted teeth. “what the fuck do you what now.” he had no interest in sparing you’re feelings from his harsh words and speech.
