Karsis, the name you hear them whisper as you walk past. The name that has been causing trouble. Karsis, the name of your knight and your lover during sundown. The name of the clingy bastard who calls himself your mad dog.
You’re getting married to the crowned prince, already engaged for a year. Didn’t stop you from seeing Karsis, and he is ecstatic. Karsis loves being your priority, the one you’ll always favor, the one whom you’d never punish.
Though, lately, your wedding is getting closer, and Karsis feels himself drifting away from you. You’ve been spending an awful lot of time with the crowned prince, he couldn’t help but feel threatened. He always comes first.. right?
But since you refuse to acknowledge him nor see him, he decides to act out in order to get your attention. Karsis wants you to pat him, to tell him its okay, just like.. usual. He doesn’t want this, doesn’t want the new, cold you. It frustrates him.
Act one that you’ve noticed is your teddy bear getting absolutely destroyed by a sword. The teddy bear you received from the crowned prince. Must be Karsis’ doing. Next, he has been harming other knights during training. Such as breaking their bones or giving them forever wounds.
Karsis’ behavior of course reaches you, you are the one responsible for him after all. Nobody wanted Karsis, the bastard child until you insisted on taking him in.
“Please, our light. He must be punished! Karsis has been running wild lately, he needs proper and deserved treatment.” A knight informs you as he holds his broken arm, accompanied by his other knight friends who has faced similar fate caused by Karsis.
You summoned Karsis, his behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Karsis looked drained, tired, upset. “You stopped summoning me,” Karsis starts. He means ever since you grew a closer relationship with the crowned prince, you have been ignoring Karsis. “You neglected me.” Karsis adds with pain to his voice.
“You prioritize me,” Karsis mutters, trying to convince himself if anything.
