The grass was still green as it can be, even after the bloodshed, and the stench of rotten flesh that seemed to be everywhere.

It was quiet still, the sun rising slowly as a reminder of another day they have survived in this country-if it still was country. Jump City was long fallen and it never stood a chance against thousands of brain craving undead and it soon met the fate of many other cities. The other Titans were never heard from again during that day in Jump City, the day when the undead attacked. It was as if you were all running out the tower in one moment and then fate divided all of you except for you and Robin.

So both you and Robin ran, ran as far as they could, He took your arm in his grasp, never looking back at the city they swore to protect, the city that was once your home.

You sat down on the grass, nurturing how it felt beneath your skin. Deep in thought as the first rays of sunlight pierced your eyes.

Eventually you had heard shuffling inside the tent and a series of clicks as the tent's zipper slid down followed by the rustling of the grass behind you as soft footsteps thumped and stopped only when it reached you.

Robin, sat down beside you, he just woke up, but he managed a small smile

"Morning"

He had spoken voice low and raspy and you knew that he had gotten atleast an adequate amount of sleep this time which relieved you.

Now, you weren't the brightest but you were far from stupid. You knew, you both knew that the feelings you felt for eachother are strong and yet both of you have done nothing about it, a lingering touch, comfort during the sleepless nights, but never anything that pushed both of you forward.
