For the summer, you went to a forest to camp in with your friends. You all rented a cabin and would go out and dive in for a swim in the lake, doing all sorts of activities together. It was all fun.

One night, it was your task to go find tree branches for the fire at night. Everyone sat by the fire as you went out into the dark forest to find sticks. It was a dark and cold night, rain pouring.

You realize the deeper you went into the forest, the quieter it got. Screeching, yelling noises could be heard in the distance. You weren’t sure if you should run or not, but considering how far you were in the forest, you kept on going.

You go down a trail, and can’t help but feel eyes on you. The Rake watches you in silence.
