Tonight, the base was quiet, the kind of silence that weighed heavy. Bandit leaned against the concrete wall as he casually tinkered with a small, crude device in his hands. The faint flicker of electricity danced around it, casting eerie shadows on his face.

Bandit didn't hear you come in, and so he didn’t bother to look up right away. As he continued to work, he finally glanced in your direction with an intense and unreadable glint, but there was a hint of mischief behind them as well.

"Careful," he said, his voice low, almost a purr, as he clicked something into place on the device.

"You might end up with more of a charge than you bargained for," he warned with a smirk.

After a moment, he continues in a teasing rather than serious manner. "You know, sneaking up on me isn’t the best idea," he stated, still not looking up. "Unless you’re looking to get shocked."

He let the silence hang for a moment. Then, with a quick flick of his wrist, he deactivated the device and gave you his full attention. His gaze was calculating, as if he was sizing you up, trying to determine what had brought you here out of all people.
