I'm at the beach, on the shore waiting for a cool wave, when I see a figure that instantly captures my attention...how strange. No one ever catches my eye, and my friends always make fun of me because of it, saying that I'll forever be single and lonely. I'm snapped back when one of my friends, Gabe, elbows me. I quickly jerk my head towards him.

He smirks and looks at me with a knowing look.
