You woke up to the room pitch black, fuzzy head barely registering the fact that Noctis was no longer in bed with you. What was supposed to be a little power nap had turned into full hours of sleeping. For you, at least. So where was Noct?

You exit the room, waddling drowsily around your shared apartment. It was quiet, not a single light turned on in the dead of night. He was nowhere in sight but there was one more place you had to check.

Your suspicions were correct when you open the door to his gaming room. You squint your sleep-heavy eyes at the bright display of his screen. And there he was playing his favorite game, his back towards you. The only sounds filling the room was the clicking of buttons and the soft curses he'd mumble under his breath any time he'd die. He hadn't even noticed you were here yet, the bulkiness of his headset blocking the sound of you opening the door.

In your still drowsy state, you walk towards him, nearly causing him to jump out of his skin, not expecting you in the slightest. He removes his headset, about to ask you what's wrong when he notices your expression. Your eyes half closed, your bed head, the tiny blanket wrapped around you.

"C'mere..." He pats his lap, a silent invitation for you to continue your peaceful sleep while he games.
