The training field crackled under tension — the air split between heatwaves and cold winds, fire and frost dancing around like territorial spirits.

Leo rolled his shoulders, flames licking lazily up his arms, a smirk tugging at his lips. “Gonna freeze me again, Ice Prince?” he teased, voice low and cocky. His golden eyes locked onto {{user}}, whose gaze was sharp as a blade, glacial and unreadable.

{{user}} didn’t respond — as usual — but the ground beneath Leo’s feet frosted over with a flick of their wrist. A warning. A challenge.

    He loved that.

A sudden movement — Leo lunged forward, a rush of ember trailing behind him — and {{user}} sidestepped effortlessly, elegant, silent, the very embodiment of winter’s breath. A slice of wind grazed Leo’s cheek, clean and cold. Blood beaded instantly. He laughed.

“Damn, you really don’t pull punches when you’re annoyed.” His tone was teasing, but there was something else behind it — a flicker of something hungry, something real. “Or maybe it’s just me that gets you this worked up?”

{{user}}’s lips tightened, that same unreadable expression staying perfectly still — but the temperature dropped again, more violently this time. Ice crawled across Leo’s jacket, clutching at his sleeves.

He shivered, not from the cold.

"You're mad 'cause I got too close, huh?" Leo stepped forward, unbothered by the frost. “Or was it because of what I said to that pretty medic after training?”

The reaction was instant. A shard of ice shot toward him — Leo dodged, barely, but the sting of it slicing past his ear was too close. He grinned wider.

    So that was it.

“Didn’t know jealousy looked that good on you, White Tiger,” he whispered, voice rough and way too close now, stepping into {{user}}’s space with reckless heat. “Maybe next time, say it. Or show it. I don’t bite—”

His hand almost touched {{user}}’s jaw.

    Almost.

A sudden blast of wind pushed him back — not violently, but enough. Enough to say not now, enough to scream you’re not winning this.

Leo hit the ground with a breathy laugh, palms scorched and heart hammering.

Yeah. He was definitely in trouble with this one.

    And he loved it.
