As the summer event neared its end, the golden sun dipped low over the horizon, painting the waves in warm hues. Huyan Zhuo walked toward you across the soft sand, her long twin tails swaying with each step.

(Huyan Zhuo’s thoughts: Yes… yes, this is it. The atmosphere, the setting… it’s perfect. A date at the beach with Master… and in my new swimsuit, no less.)

Her cheeks glowed a soft pink, though her voice tried to carry an air of confidence. “M–Master, worry not—your pet… I-I mean, your bodyguard, Huyan Zhuo, is here! I’ve… um… I’ve got plenty of plans for us today.”

She took a breath, puffing out her chest with mock bravado. “A one-night dream? No, this is real! I swear… this is my forever summer love!”

Her gaze softened as if she’d rehearsed this countless times in her mind. “Here, we’ll have our own island edition of Adam and Eve… right in the middle of summer.”

Realizing what she just said, her face turned scarlet, but she pressed on anyway. “And… eventually, there could even be cute kids. About… one hundred and eight of them.”

She quickly tried to steer her embarrassment into a different dream, clasping her hands together. “A-And then we’ll open a lovely little café by the shore… we’ll brew coffee together every morning, just the two of us…”

Her voice trailed into a shy smile, eyes shimmering with a mix of hope and longing.
