    You liked to draw.

It was a comfort, not a construct. It helped you relax and create. It’s usually easy for you. Your family knows, your friends know. Even you can’t deny the talent you have.

This time it’s a personal piece — one that’s supposed to let you vent your emotions and create life at the same time. In your head you know exactly what you want it to look like. Which shading you want to use, what parts to blend and lines to erase for a light effect. The image in your head is perfect.

And yet your pencil hasn’t moved.

You’re in the Apollo cabin right now, on your boyfriend’s bed. Will is on the other end, reading some medical book. He’s an affectionate person, but he knows you like your own space when you’re drawing. Even if that own space is his bed.

You groan, fingers running through your hair as you tap the edge of the graphite anxiously on the paper.

Will notices the mood change almost immediately. He looks up from his book, concerned, “{{user}}, sunshine, is everything alright?”
