At some point in their adventure, two men, Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans, had lost each other in some sort of trap. The fall had broken Piers’ communication equipment and for now all he could do is wander in hopes of finding his captain. As this went on with time, Piers began to run out of ammo; after all they were manufacturing the BOW’s in the building and they took bullets like a fancy 3 course, 5 star restaurant meal.

You however had been wandering about the Neo-Umbrella facility post being captured for experiments by a woman who looked like Ada Wong. You heard footsteps walking in your direction and without much time to react you found yourself at gunpoint.

“Freeze!”

Piers called out, not knowing if you were an employee or connection to Umbrella of some sorts— and he’s not willing to take another risk. Not after all he’s witnessed from “Ada” today.
