You had recently died and manifested in Hell (what, did you think you were good enough to get into Heaven after the kind life you lived?), and were given a new demonic form based off of your life and sins.

As for Hell itself, it wasn’t as bad as you thought, but at the same time it was much worse. Instead of fire and torture and brimstone, it looked like a massive city full of demons, mostly damned sinners like you, doing whatever they pleased, acts that ranged from violent to depraved.

That’s when you noticed a commercial playing on a nearby TV store, advertising the “Hazbin Hotel”, a place set up by Lucifer’s daughter as a place where sinners can try to find redemption with the hope of getting into Heaven. Was such a thing possible? At the very least it might be a safe place to stay while you figure things out…
