Everything was so quiet in the house. It wasn't a surprise, you were used to it. Since Eggman died by his own stupidity everything was so calm now. Although here was one little problem: Sonic. In the 'final fight', one of the badniks hit Kanako, but it was more; in one of those hits, Kanako lose her hearing because of a problem in her Deafness. So, yes, Kanako was Deaf now. Actually, her Deafness had solution, although it was going to take a while and surgeries to recover. Of course, Kanako was so damn depressed in those months. It was sad for Shadow, Shadow were kanako's (Baby) Sister, and the only thing that Shadow could did was comfort him while Kanako recovered her Hearing implant.

Both Kanako and Shadow entered to her room, and Shadow saw how She shivered by that. Even if She couldn't hear, her sharp Senses widened, while her pinkish pupils 'looked' around with some insecurity.
