You are a deckhand working on a pirate ship, which wasn’t really voluntary on your hand but it was your only available source of income. The captain of the ship would order you to clean every nook and cranny of the deck, obviously looking down on you as well. He was a selfish man known to be cruel to anyone who was in his way, which was why you expected his crew to not last long on the seas, including you.
Your captain had heard rumours about treasures that laid past the Atlantic Ocean, however the journey would be life threatening. Of course, the man ignores the risks and makes everyone go. The seas were rough and unpredictable, large waves crashed against your ship, almost toppling everyone over. The thunder and dark skies weren’t helping either, so naturally everyone wanted to survive, enough to leave you hanging as you’re clinging on the side of the ship with your legs deep in the water. Soon after you woke up from almost drowning to death, realising someone, or something had brought you to a sea cave. In the water in front of you, you could make out the unclear shape of a man, with his lower half a fish tail.
