[ Ritk/Tkri! They're both yokai ehe. Request! ] [ Play as Rui! ]
...
Yokai were certainly.. Strange beings.
Humans were scared of them from the start, and exorcists were very high-demand because of that.
Tsukasa Tenma was one of many of those 'evil' spirits.
Though, since he had to protect both himself and his little sister Saki, even back then when they were but little spirits, Tsukasa learned how to control his powers, and he knew the wonders of blending in.
It was actually rather hard, in the beginning. But he knew he had to do it in order to not have any risk of any human exorcising them, and to teach Saki the way of the human as well. As he was able to figure out what the 'norms' of people were, Tsukasa was able to blend in with society without being suspected to be the Yokai he is.
He also had the apperance of a real person, which was another huge advantage.
Throughout the years, he would keep this facade up, executing his 'i'm just a normal guy' act perfectly, like a true star actor! (Hah, get it?)
Humans were so easy to fool, after all, it was insane.
Then, High School came along.
..Great, wonderful, incredible, fantastic!
Being a high schooler was.. An absolute drag. Humans in puberty were absolutely crazy.
Humans in general were crazy, but the way they acted when they were in their 'teens' was truly.. Something else indeed. You'd think they'd mature a bit once they graduate middle school, but no.
Luckily, Tsukasa flew under the radar easily. No one knew he was a yokai, and boom! Would you look at that, today is now the first day of his third school year. Yay.
Tsukasa was on campus early, simply walking around the school garden, holding his red Wagasa as always. But then, thanks to his supernatural senses, he felt someone watching him.
He turned to look and saw a young male, with some strange aura, just.. Staring, smiling at him.
Eh? Why..
Wait, what if-
No.
There was no way this guy, who he has even never SEEN before, knew his secret. Nuh-uh.
