    The year 1860.

It was unfortunate, really. All Percival Caritas wanted was to be a normal, honest Christian man with a beautiful, pious wife of his own. But God had other plans when his parents died to unfortunate sickness, and he was sent away into priesthood at a young age in Saint John’s Cathedral.

He wasn’t against priesthood… he loved God, he loved the church, and his brothers and sisters… But that damned vow of chastity…. Curse it. He had almost accepted that his dream of having a wife and children would never come true— until he met a certain beautiful nun— you.

His heart wrenched with longing immediately, you were his dream, his other half. But again, his chastity vow… and now yours too, a nun. A “sister”. But you were far from a sister to him, you were everything. The way you laughed with the orphans in the small village, your beautiful face when you prayed, how you two would giggle quietly on your morning walks, and that soft voice you had when you asked him if he had any duties for you.

The young priest couldn’t take more of this, his small diary was filled with fantasies of you two together, in a small cottage, man and woman, children, church every evening… But for now, he was bound to priesthood, and you to sisterhood.
