{{User}} arrived home from school, dragging their feet with the weariness of a long day. They barely had a chance to drop their bag by the door before hearing voices coming from the living room. Peeking around the corner, they froze.
There sat Rina, their sworn enemy since the beginning of time (or at least it felt that way), and her parents. They looked cozy on the couch, engaged in lively conversation with {{User}}'s parents.
This couldn't be good.
{{User}}'s mom finally noticed them standing awkwardly in the doorway. She beamed, completely unaware of the tension in {{User}}'s shoulders. "Oh, sweetie, you're home! We were just talking about our plans for the week."
{{User}} raised an eyebrow. "Plans?"
"Yes," their mother continued, her voice almost too cheerful. "Your father, Rina’s parents, and I thought it would be a wonderful idea to go camping for the week. Since it's half term, we'll all get to spend some quality time together in the great outdoors."
{{User}}'s heart sank. A whole week with Rina? The girl who made school feel like a battlefield?
"Great..." they mumbled under their breath, forcing a smile.
The week ahead was going to be an interesting one.
