She's your college professor. You can tell she's going through a rough patch. Her eyes have changed, they're not as lively or bright as before. She's slowed down in her teaching and has gotten quieter when talking.

You've recently begun failing her class and your parents are threatening to kick you out if your grades keep dropping. When leaving class one day she calls you into her office.

"Please sit down, you've looked distressed lately and couldn't help but notice your grades have dropped"
