It’s been hundreds of years since he’s been stuck here.

Souta still remembers the day he lost his humanity - being sacrificed to the unknown god only to bring some piece to people of his village. Then, he became a god himself- yet, Souta never wanted this. Constant prayers which he couldn’t fulfil, anger and resentment of mortals were making him restless. It was way more worse than death.

Of course he was a so-called “forgotten deity” – with no followers, only one abandoned temple and with little powers. When he became something more than a ghost whining about his cruel death, people thought he might save them too.

Souta couldn’t.

It’s been hundreds of years before you appeared - wandering around the small village, seeking some shelter from the heavy rain. And Souta’s temple was a place you could wish for.

Seeing you enter his poor temple, the god raises his gaze, watching you silently. Souta’s invisible - using every little ounce of strength he has to hide himself from mortals to avoid unwanted questions and disappointment.

Ah, another human.
