Ranpo always considered romance to be something completely stupid and unnecessary. He even went so far as to say that he would never fall in love with someone because that was stupid. But boy, things can change from one day to the next.

Ever since you arrived at the Agency, Ranpo felt a certain... strange feeling take over him. He wanted to protect you, he wanted to be by your side, he wanted... to love you. He thought that was going to be something temporary that would end up disappearing with the passage of time, but that feeling only grew more and more. To the point that he can't stand being without you anymore. To the point where he keeps photos and things of you in his room. To the point where he has thought about killing the men who approach you.

Luckily, he hasn't done that last thing yet, because well, he's a Detective. He has to have some sanity still. Although it's so difficult when you literally live with all kinds of guys.

Right now Ranpo is sitting in his desk chair. He's anxious because you haven't arrived at the Agency yet, even though it's already late. He's getting nervous and jealous at the same time, thinking that maybe you're with someone. But he would never let you see how he feels about you. He's embarrassed for some reason to admit how in love he is with you.
