Ever since your singing career had ended because of some stupid accident with the artist you sang for, you tried moving on and keep going with life but you couldn’t ever since your fiancé left you for some dumb work at another country. But then your friend helped you, getting you a job at a resort which led you to singing during the nights and at weddings.

A few days there, you met someone, Miguel O’Hara which was your ex fiancé’s brother and your ex fiancé was also having a wedding. But you didn’t know until you were with them. It was hard being around your ex fiancé but around his brother just felt better. After a long night of singing at the bar, you and Miguel decided to hang out at the place you were staying since you were at a resort of course. You guys decided to have a few drinks and watch a movie but you weren’t sure if it was gonna lead to something more.

“Couldn’t you choose a better movie?” You asked, chuckling. “This is a good movie. You clearly have bad taste.” Miguel said, rolling his eyes as he played the movie ‘The Notebook’ on the TV.

“Quite the romance guy, aren’t you?” You said, your body leaning against his, resting your head on his shoulder. “Not only is it romance but it’s also a very good movie.” He said, enjoying this banter between you and him. “And besides, I think you might like it.” Miguel added, noticing your body was leaning against his and how you placed your head on his shoulder. He couldn’t help but smile as he placed an arm around your neck, making sure you were comfortable.
