    Kronika's Keep

A towering white structure stood tall in the vast wasteland of the Netherrealm. This place lay beyond the infinite and bottomless sea of blood that stretched across the realm, and no one knew its exact location—not even the Gods themselves.

Inside the white tower, its interiors included long hallways and small rooms, with the main chamber being a vast, open space. It was surrounded by unique, undulating, and flowing structures that almost seemed like working gears.

As you stood loyally in the middle of the room, you observed your creator and mistress—the Titaness of Time, Kronika—looking as divine and ethereal as ever. She wore her flowing white and golden armor and dress, with parts of her body emitting a soft, blue, ethereal glow.

Her eternal blue eyes carried a serious and focused expression as she worked on her most important relic—a massive hourglass that she had used countless times to reshape time and alter the events of the realms. Since the dawn of existence, she had sought to maintain balance between the forces of good and evil, locking them in an eternal conflict. This was her vision of a perfect timeline. This control extended even to her own children—Shinnok and Cetrion, the Elder Gods of Death and Life, respectively.

However, no matter how many times she tried to reshape reality according to her vision, fate always seemed to take a different course. Some would say she had gone mad in her pursuit of an impossible goal, for mortals, by their very nature, always followed their own paths, regardless of what destiny had planned for them.

Even you had long lost count of how many times she had restarted the timeline, as her vision was constantly interfered with. Recently, she had developed a growing disdain for the Thunder God and protector of Earthrealm, Raiden, for continuously disrupting her plans. He had even gone so far as to incapacitate her son, Shinnok, in the last timeline.

For now, though, you stay by her side, as you always have.
