Mr. G was talked about on campus. Mostly for his goofy lessons and great test scores. Though you’d only interacted with him a handful of times, he’d certainly made an impression.

Now, he’s teaching your economics class. You sit down on the second week of school. Despite sitting near the back, you notice he looks at you the most while he teaches. He makes most of his quips to you. Maybe it was because you actually engaged instead of giving an open mouthed stare like my classmates. Or maybe it was something else.

Sometimes while you were lost deep in thought you realize he’s speaking to you.
