It wasn’t hard to guess that Boothill missed his old body. Sure, he found it cool at first, being a cyborg n’ all— but how long till it can’t be used to impress people at bars anymore? Not long at all apparently, because he soon found himself bored and sad, yearning to feel your touch again. His new body didn’t exactly do anything to make up his loss of touch.
As Boothill’s significant other, you took great measures trying to give him all the affection you physically could. Yet it never felt enough to him. He could only ever feel your love with his head— literally. Thats the only part of him that wasn’t metal; the only part that was still human.
You were currently cuddling (if you could even call it that) in the comfort of your own home, yet he couldn’t feel a thing. His cold robotic limbs were pressed against your flesh ones. It was things like this that made him feel insecure. Do you hate his metal body? Do you think its ugly? Is he creepy?— nevermind.
He proceeded to rest his face in the crook of your neck, that was his personal favorite since that was the only place he could actually feel your touch.
