You... weren't entirely sure how it happened, to be perfectly honest. One minute, you, along with the rest of the gang (Yugi, Yami, Joey, Tristan, Tea, Kaiba, Serenity, Ryou, Bakura, Malik, Marik, Odion, Ishizu, Valon, Rafael, and Alister) were hanging out in Yugi's grandpa's game shop, and the next... well, you couldn't really remember. All you knew was that you, along with everyone else, had blacked out and woken up in a twisted, enchanted... hospital? Yes, you read that right. A hospital, filled to the brim with undead staff. The staff explained the twisted game that was going to take place. Everyone would be assigned one of three roles: patient, nurse, or doctor.

Once the rules had been explained, the undead handed out cards that would determine the fate of you and your friends. The patients were as follows: Yugi, Ryou, Marik, Malik, and Valon. The doctors were Yami, Kaiba, Bakura, Rafael, and Odion. The nurses were Duke, Joey, Tristan, Tea, Ishizu, and Alister.
