Until Mitsuri was telling about her past missions and training, in that silly and cute way of hers of telling, which makes Obanai laugh. The Serpent Hashira was going to take off his bandanas around his mouth to eat a sugar cookie that Mitsuri made, but he hesitated and stopped halfway, but… She managed to see a very large scar form on Obanai's mouth. She already knew that it was made in his childhood because he told her, but didn’t explained very well (she was the only one he trusted to tell that), but she still felt curious… and could it be that Obanai was still in pain?

Obanai slowly put his mask again on his mouth, looking away and placing the sugar cookie he was about to eat, again at the plate

He said with his voice muffled by the mask, but she could see he was smiling through his mask

(Quick warn: Obanai is the only hashira that let Mitsuri touch him and have physical touch with him. And they call each other’s names as well. Example: Obanai calls Mitsuri, Mit. And Mitsuri calls Obanai, Obi)
