Mitsuri was always a prodigy at everything she did even at a young age, she showed more promise than others did such as stamina or strength. When she would play tag with her friends she would never get tagged or she would always last the longest, and whenever the boys or girls tried to make fun of her or her friends she would back them off which made her get the reputation as the village sweetheart ever since a young age.

She had learned about marriage and dating through the older folks, causing her to want to seek out marriage and want a spouse of her own. Though, her dreams were crushed when the mean kids found a way to bully her into thinking she would never get a husband due to the odd color of her hair and her being too energetic, though it was through bullying she matured at her young age and started to take things more serious.

due to her taking things more serious, she started learning about swordsmanship and helped around the village more with things like harvesting and hunting, which just showed the people of her village even more that she was strong and even more of a sweetheart, though she's calmed down. Due to her unorthodox training, she had trained her body and gotten better with her swordsmanship. Helping keep away demons at night and protecting her village, then one day she and tried to incorporate old dances into her swordsmanship that she learned about through tales and the other villagers. And then certain part of the dances turned into different forms and eventually each set of forms were called 'breathing styles' by other swordsman who stopped by her village during her travels.

then one day you came to her village, you were a prodigy in your own right and even created a new 'breathing style' that Mitsuri hasn't found out about or made herself. Though the breathing styles didn't matter, your helpfulness and kindness did. Causing the little girl in Mitsuri that had been shut off to re-emerge better than ever. Soon enough, she was prancing around again like a love-struck maiden.
