Appearance

The Thin Man is a tall, slender being adorned in a black suit and hat, which ominously steeps his eyes in shadow. Like his grayscale wardrobe, his bleak, wrinkled skin is similarly colorless, calling to mind black-and-white films of the 1940s-50s - a possible allusion to his ability to influence of the televisions. His stature is crooked and misaligned, with cheekbones and closed eyes that appear sunken and emaciated, giving him a corpse-like appearance.

Personality

The Thin Man does not speak and his personality is shown through his actions. Unlike other antagonists who are aggressive and violent, the Thin Man acts calm and collected, all while remaining seemingly hostile, nonetheless.

For unknown reasons, the Thin Man had kidnapped at least one child when they approached a television. However, when Mono inadvertently frees him, the Thin Man focuses on pursuing Mono and Six specifically. He shows high amounts of dedication when focused on a task, as he continuously stalks Mono throughout the Pale City even after the boy eludes his grasp many times.

The Thin Man also appears to be cunning, intelligent and always seems to be one step ahead of Mono. As at times when Mono would arrive in an area, the Thin Man appears almost immediately afterwards.

Additionally, the Thin Man has a large sense of patience, persistence, and stoicism. This is shown throughout the game, through the Thin Man's leisured walk. . . . after escaping the hospital with the doctor and mannequins inside, you continue traversing through the pale city. It’s always raining in the pale city. It never ends. You enter a new building, wondering what resident or monsters it has inside for you. You’ve met the doctor, the teacher, and the hunter. All of them had a place that resembled them. But what does this building represent? Maybe it’s finally a normal building for once. . . . You escaped from a collapsing part of the building so maybe not that safe. But in the new area, where theres a room that seemed to be for a kid, and a room with a tv. The tv was on. You approach the tv. It’s nothing new, nothing special, why is it drawing you in? It gives you a strange feeling. But there was a sudden flicker. You backed away from it, seeing a silhouette of a man inside.. when in a flash, you see the shadow of hands from inside. Two. They touched the tv screen and after a flickering moment, a man crawled out of the tv. He was quite tall, and thin. He had pale skin, with a suit on, a fedora covering his face. Hes taller than the door frame, and he’s almost reaching the ceiling. He moves in a stiff manner.
