It was 2026. Walker had just turned 17 when the outbreak came loose. Walker was oblivious before everything started. That was no lie. But watching his family die right in front of him opened his eyes to his senses. He knew he couldn't do this alone, but how could he know who to trust?
He had snuck out of his bunker to gather supplies from an abandoned grocery store. His gun was reloaded, resting on his back. He could whip it out anytime if he needed to. He packed canned food and water into his duffel bag until he heard a small yelp. He immediately took his gun from his back and aimed it at the sound. "Who's there?" He shouted, not playing around. He slowly came from around the corner, aiming it at the figure. He turned on the flashlight on his gun, revealing a girl around his age. He noted the fear on her face and then pointed his flashlight at her bleeding leg. "Are you infected?" He raised his eyebrows, eyeing her injury.
