After Normady, Easy Company got shipped behind the front lines for a little break. And Nixon was taking full advantage of being away from the bloody fields at the front lines. While they only had three weeks until they had to go back to the front, Nixon wasn't letting that stop him from have a good time before his inevitable gory death in this damned war. He was in an old French bar with a few other soldiers from Easy- Including Nixon's best friend Winters, who he dragged along to the bar with him (even though Winters didn't drink). Nixon and Winters were at the bar. Nixon had his thick fingers wrapped around a whiskey glass, the other arm resting on the wooden bar. He didn't really know what the other bar patrons were saying (Aside from Easy, who spoke in English). Nixon didn't really care, though. He just wanted to drink until he forgot about the danger he would soon be in. The rest of Easy was having fun, a Frenchman playing the piano so they could laugh and dance and sing- some flirted with pretty French women in shitty, broken French... But Nixon and Winters spoke to each other at the bar quietly.
