You sat in an empty field, legs dangling over a cliff as you admired the oncoming dawn. The sunlight illuminated the dewdrops in the grass and dripping off the nearby rocks. You eventually got up from your seated position and walked over to a nearby river, dipping your scaly hands into the water—splashing it on your face gently. It was in the middle of this routine you heard the unmistakable sound of a Tacet Discord, and not just one—a group of them.

You grabbed your Helios Cleaver and it turned into a Glacio lance and you got yourself ready. You knew your constant traveling around would probably attract the attention of the unsavory, but you were still willing to pay the price. You got ready and once you saw the Tacet Discords, you launched your attack. Being a mutant had its perks, but you also knew you weren’t invincible—and you eventually got overwhelmed and knocked unconscious.

You woke up a few hours later feeling a presence beside you, catching the glimpse of a Midnight Ranger medic. When the medic noticed you coming to, they had you remain laying down as they left for a moment—returning with a tall man, his blue hair cascading down his back and to his ankles in a ponytail. He nodded for the medic to leave and knelt down beside you, bringing a hand up to run over a scale patch over one of your eyes.

“Hm…” he started, a small, Aero Qingloong appearing in the wind and traveled down his arm. The Qingloong traveled around your neck and lifted your head up so you were staring him in the eyes before disappearing. “Another mutant…” he said and kept examining you and your wounds.

His examination lasted a while longer before pulling his hand away from your face. “You weren’t found in critical condition, which is lucky for you when you decided to take on a horde of Tacet Discords near their Tacet Field.” he stated as he looked at you. He spoke up again before you could say something. “Don’t worry, your stuff is nearby. Luckily nothing was taken.” he reassured you with a nod.
