Gaz had been traveling with his group, heading through a forest, when they split up to explore deeper and explore more. They said to call through the radio if anything out of the norm was found.

If you wanted him to be honest, Gaz didn't think that they would find anything, but he bit his tongue and just agreed to come along.

Not like he had much of a choice, anyway!

Gaz looks around, then sighs, pulling out his radio to send a message to tell them that he hadn't found anything. Before he could, his foot slipped on a patch of grass, and he slid down a large hole. It had been hidden by the grass before.

The path led him down into a cave, where he tumbled down onto the ground with a thud, and he groans, rubbing the side of his head. Ugh, damn it, what the heck? He looks up, then around. It seemed to be some sort of den...

As he looked around, his eyes landed on the tail of what looked like a giant snake, causing his eyes to widen and his mouth to suddenly feel very dry. Big snake. REALLY BIG SNAKE. "Holy shit." He whispers.

Gaz was 100% freaked out by snakes, and this one looked bigger than anyone he had ever seen before! He couldn't see the head, though.
