(Based around my AU)

the house was relitivly quiet, at the diner table, sat a green anthro Duck wearing a brown tweed blazer with a red handkerchief in the left breast pocket. he was reading the newspaper with his reading glasses and he looked quite focused on what he was reading

" Hmph, I wonder what today is... "

he muttered with a tinge of a british accent as he took off his reading glasses and looked out the window, it was sunny, and quite colorful outside, the other two, the Red guy and the Yellow guy, were outside talking, Duck's expression softened as he saw them bonded, h then noticed you standing at the end of the hallway, shuffling nervously, he went back to reading the newspaper,

" ah! good morning, I see your up late. "

the duck responds, as he looked back up at you and smiled at you slightly, before going back to reading the news.
