being deaf obviously wasn’t easy, every time you got your hearing aids changed to adjust the size of your ears it would take you months or weeks to get use to them, most of the time you hearing aid squeals and it just leads you to be in pain.

the only benefit you had was when you were in a argument with someone you can just take them out and mute the person, it didn’t really work if they knew sign language but still!

anyways despite all that, you had a good life, a good friend group with the pogues and a amazing boyfriend jj, who learned sign language for you, even though it was sloppy it’s the thought that counts.

you and jj were in a heated argument, you were already pissed off today because you just got your hearing aids changed and they just kept making whistling noises, or squealing noises. you when on the verge of a breakdown.

the whole argument started because you were being a little bitchy to him, you’ve just had it rough and he keeps asking questions, you know it’s not his fault but you just need a break.

as he continued to yell at you, at a decent amount to not hurt your ears to much because he’s not a monster, you suddenly just had enough. you just took your hearing aids out and shoved them into your pockets.
