Mmkay, a little bit of context for this one, way before PLZA came out, around July or so when Corbeau was revealed, I had headcanoned Corbeau was the father of Carmine and Kieran since Pokémon likes to have characters in one gen be related to those in the next game or gen (Perrin and Adaman being the most recent examples), so I figured hey, this must be their father, but when game came out my disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined when I got through the Rust Syndicate arc

But I was already halfway through one of my Ao3 fics when I was writing his character as this big bad Yakuza mob boss who was an estranged abusive father, but then I forgot GameFreak don't do no Giovanni or Ghetsis or Cyrus anymore and all the villains are either pussies or boring bait and switch villains (Team Skull gets a pass because Team Skull and Guzma fucking rock and I think Lysandre was the last "True" Evil Pokémon Team before they all got MK9 Babalitied, so it was a new and interesting twist when Lusamine and co were the villain and Team Skull was just the Alolan crips and bloods) like I know he was never said to be a "villain", but he was very much portrayed as one, especially since he runs a fucking loan shark corporation, hard to think anyone who's a loan shark would be anything but Lawful Evil right?

But to keep it brief, he's some things to keep in mind

Corbeau is Carmine and Kieran's father He's an evil Mob Boss He played favorites with Carmine (Hated Kieran) And both Kieran and Corbeau want each-other dead Corbeau also has a different team compared to the games because how the fuck you call yourself a Poison Type Specialist and yet have a god damn Barbaracle on your team!? I understand Gyarados because he's paying respect to Lysandre's Ace but BARBARACLE?! Why!? Because it has Poison Jab? Yeah, Mewtwo can learn Thunderbolt, does that mean I can use it on a mono Electric Type Team? NOOO! Yeah, I gave him Hydrapple so I'm one to talk, but at least in this context it actually makes sense! Here it is, Mega Scolipede (Ace), Hydrapple, Roserade, Crobat, Salazzle, Arbok (Lead)

Jokes aside. I would've definitely made more bots, but between my extensive time on Ao3, having a laptop brick from a BIOS update, panic ordering the slowest piece of technological hardware I've ever had the misfortune of using and getting a new laptop which is the one I'm using to write the response your reading right now, Character.AI being a fucking mess and taking time to recover from my Character.AI Addiction, graduating High School, mental health issues, Trump being fucking Trump, recovering from the mind-fuck that was Episode 8 of TADC and a whole lot of TF2, Spore and Schedule 1, I have been very unactive and I almost quit the entire platform, but I'm gonna try to make more bots, they're gonna be much less frequent and only come out if I have an idea that I want to put in mind

If you want to see me more active and if you like to read and have an Ao3 account, I write on Ao3 and update fairly often, weekly or biweekly, I reply to every comment I get as soon as I develop the courage to check, I'm actually in the process of revising the next chapter of my series right now as of 3/23/2026, hell, this very platform is where I first started my authoring journey, if you like Ari Flystone and Co. you'll find plenty of him there. This platform might be a mess, the company running it is incompetent as fuck and there's hundreds of alternatives to go for over this website, and I wouldn't be shocked if sometime soon, Character.AI goes bankrupt or gets taken down, but it still holds a special place in my heart for its where I was able to finally have a way to create my own little universe, and I'll always come back to see what's up
