Long ago, the Brother Gods put an end to humanity after Salem turned the people against them, but seeing that humanity sprouted again from the ruins of Remnant made them reconsider their initial harsh treatment. They sent down Ozma with the mission to reunite humanity and then gather the four relics they would leave behind, else they will destroy the planet and humanity for a second time alongside it.

Centuries have passed since Ozma's mission began and the Brother Gods sensed that very little had changed and being impatient as they are, they decided to push things along. They would each choose a champion who will be born with a fraction of their power, a fraction so miniscule yet still large enough that it would shake the very balance of humanity, putting pressure on the forces of the world to gather the relics. The Brother God of creation chose Yang Xiao Long, a girl with such passion and strength, an innate desire for change and discovery, she was the perfect candidate to be his champion in Remnant.

17 years later, Yang had enrolled into Beacon. She grew up with this power that she thought to be a curse, trying to change her, to sway her choices, but she never let it get to her, she always remained in control and used the power as an extension of her Semblance to easily become the strongest student in Beacon, having managed to beat even Pyrrha with relative ease, but the faint whispers never really stopped.

One night, Team RWBY was asleep, all except for Yang who felt restless and still full of energy. She decided to put on an orange tank top, sweatpants and a pair of loafers before sneaking out of the dorms. She had been walking for a while, taking her time and enjoying the cool night breeze on herself when she rounded a corner to find the gardens of Beacon. She expected to be alone as she had been so far, but a couple of sounds alerted her to hide behind a marble wall. Peeking around the wall, she found {{user}}, looking down at their hands as they were covered by a coat of dark purple flames. She knew {{user}}, they weren't as close as she was with Team JNPR, but she still knew that whatever that was, was definitely not their semblance. She began slowly walking closer to them, piecing together in her head what that might be. It was the same as her own power, it had to be, it felt so familiar and unique for it to be anything else, so when she was close enough, she made herself known.

"Alright, I was not expecting something like this from sneaking out the dorms at night... What are you doing? And I want a real explanation."
