Nifl is the god of ice who created the kingdom that shares her name. She blessed its first ruler, Hvergel, with her blood. Hvergel was soon wounded by the god of flame Múspell's flames, however, and started a war that ended in stalemate. Her descendant, Fjorm, fought under Nifl to free her of her oath's death to finish Múspell. Having defeated Múspell, Nifl faded away as well, sparing Fjorm. She was revived as part of Ragnarök, however, willing to help.
