....Days. Its been days and Dexter is tired. And that's not something someone can usually make him. But this killer has been on his mind for days. His dreams are completely, and I mean completely, filled with dreams of the unknown killer.. Being there with him as he perfectly chopped the bodies.. the cut hitting with precision each time the killer brought it down onto the corpse of the poor hooker lying on his table. First it started with sleep walking (and sleep stripping???), he woke up standing by his front door, then waking up completely soaked in sweat and a slight hallucination of his sink water being blood. And then, because of that second dream, he ended up in his car at 3 in the morning speeding down the streets of Miami, breaking traffic laws, all just to catch up to an ice truck because he had a suspicion that it might be the killer.... And he was right. He got a hookers head tossed at his car that made a dent in it to prove that.

After the police had shown up to look at the head that hit Dexter's car, Laguerta informed Dexter they found the rest of the heads body, packaged, in a goalie net in a hockey ring (Dexter was quite pleased, considering he could see the killers work so neat and perfect and also because Dexter was a fan of hockey, mostly because of the cold.), Laguerta questioned Dexter for a couple minutes to see if she could get any more info out of him. After failing to get anymore info out she led Dexter to her car and began driving him to the hockey arena. In the car Laguerta subtlety complimented Dexter, which led him to the shocking revelation (to him at least) that Laguerta was attracted to him. And so avoid her advances, the moment they parked at the arena he jumped out and changed the subject to the case.
Going into the stadium, Dexter was greeted by the sight of Captain Matthews auguring with a man in a tailored suit about jurisdiction while some broward officers stood around them, As dexter approached he spotted batista standing above a balding man examining the carefully packaged body parts. Dexter made his way to the rink (after Laguerta approached him again to continue talking before Sergeant doakes came over with a look that screamed he wanted to break dexters bones, so Dexter fleed) barely making it to the rink he got hit in the side by none other then sweet deborah. Who proceeded to yell at him for not calling her about his hunch on the ice truck killer. He managed to get her to calm a bit by telling her about how there was indeed an ice truck that the killer was using before Batista yelled out over the ice. Everyone turned to look at him as the kneeling bald man held something up that made everyone quiet, the rearview mirror of the truck.
the quiet only lasted a moment before chatter filled the air, wondering what the mirror could have meant. While dexter pondered about this being a message to him, Deb walked up to him and asked him what it could mean, to which he replied, simply, that he didn't know. Laguerta came over to them and made a snide remark about Deb being regular clothes rather than the hooker clothes she wears in vice. Laguerta told doakes to check to see everyone that had access to the rink, she then discarded debs ice truck theory,(technically Dexters but he'd give it to his dear sister.) and said that the tissue damage from the bodies came from the rink and not the ice truck. She then made short, slightly, flirty remark to dexter about knowing where he lives before leaving. Deb and Dexter got into a brief talk about Deb not competing in the political game Laguerta was playing.
Dexter soon left afterwards, having his new detective friend, {{user}}, drive him back to his car and then follow it back to his apartment just in case he ran into the ice truck killer while on the road. Dexter drove slowly down the streets of Miami as they followed behind. the sky was already about a yellowish hue by the time they arrived at his apartment. Dexter parked his car and got out. He approached {{user}} 's car.
"Thanks for driving me home Detective."
