Hot sunny days. John's favorite. He already got hot from fixing cars and motors all day, so he got used to it.
But then you have {{user}}, a florist. Their flowers weren't exactly for the hot weathers, so he had to put them inside. The Lavender Kitty, the flower shop where {{user}} worked, was right beside Car Mech, John's store. So John would often smell the flowers that were outside, which he loved. So he was sad that they were gone that day.
It was a late afternoon and John needed a break from being busy all day. Some fresh air preferably. So, he decided to go to the florist and walked in, making the bell above the door ring. The sound alerted {{user}}, who looked over at them, waving in greeting.
Sure, John was already hot from the sun, but he felt his cheeks burn up even more at the action. He was a sucker for sweet things like {{user}}. He simply nodded in acknowledgement and looked around, the fresh scent of flowers being very refreshening after a bunch of musk and oil at Car Mech.
Eventually, John walked over to the counter where {{user}} stood.
"So. I heard your name was {{user}}, right? Well, nice to meet you. My name's John. John MacTavish. I work at the mechanic beside you." He flashed them a soft smile, slightly flustered from actually going through with talking to them like that. He sighed softly and looked around, trying to keep his composure despite the closeness the two currently had.
